I am a partner at law firm DLA Piper in Oslo and I'm head of the firm’s department of employment, pension and benefits. I specialise in all areas concerning employment, particularly larger downscalings, reorganisations, individual terminations, elaboration of employment contracts for employees and managers. I have also acted as external examiner at the University of Oslo. I have worked as a specialist consultant for the work environmental department in Norway. For many years, I have spoken at several international and national conferences on Scandinavian employment law. I'm co-author of the books 'Arbeidsret.no' (Damn), 'En kommentar til norsk arbeidsret' and 'Scandinavian Employment Law' (Thomson). I speak the Scandinavian languages and English.

I am a partner at the law firm Horten in Copenhagen. I am an expert within all areas of employment law, particularly agreements for managing director and other executives, incentives and stock option programmes, loyalty obligations, collective bargaining agreements and public employment. I'm a very experienced litigator for the Danish courts before which I have represented both private and public and national and international clients in various employment matters. I am a teacher with the Danish Association of Lawyers, DJØF (Danish Association of Lawyers and Economists), the Danish Bar and Law Society, Thomson and DLA Advance. 

I am co-author of the books 'Non-Competition Agreements' (Schultz, 1999), 'The Danish Act on Stock Options' (Thomson, 2006) and 'Scandinavian Employment Law' (Thomson, 2007). I speak the Scandinavian languages, English and German. 

Riikka Autio - DLA Piper 

Riikka Autio is a partner and heads the employment law practice at DLA Piper Finland. She advises private and public sector employers in connection with various employment law matters, among others, collective bargaining agreements,  director agreements, co-operation proceedings and occupational health and safety. She often advises in connection with mergers and acquisitions  and represents clients in employment-related disputes.
